What's the difference between a 'classical' and 'acoustic' guitar?
• A classical guitar (or Spanish guitar) will normally feature nylon strings, a slotted headstock, and a fairly wide neck and body. It has a softer, more mellow sound than the acoustic guitar.
• An acoustic guitar will have a slimmer appearance than its classical counterpart. The neck is thinner, allowing smaller hands to reach around with ease. Acoustic guitars usually feature steel strings, which produces the louder sound that is associated with pop or folk music today.

What size guitar is right for my child?
Age is a general guideline for the size guitar your child needs. Your child's variance in height to other children in the same age group can guide you to a smaller or larger guitar. A large child might move up a size and a small child might move down a size. If the size you order is not right, don't worry.
